Fashion tips for thin men
Unfortunately, not all men are born tall and handsome with naturally built physiques. However, choosing the right garments can help you get flattering looks. Here are several tips that you should follow in order to learn how to best complement your image and flatter your body type.
When it comes to fashion, it becomes really difficult for super-slim people to find clothes that fit well and complement their smaller frames. In order to add muscle mass to a bony body you can either join a gym and start lifting weights along with eating more protein and other foods, or follow some fashion tips that can help you create the visual illusion of being larger than you actually are.
Choose blazers with small shoulder padding as they will make your upper body look more muscular, giving your back and chest a visual boost, and stay away from wearing massive padding.
Avoid wearing slim-fitting dress shirts and T-shirts; instead go for tops that come away slightly from your midsection, as these will hide your skinny figure. Avoid wearing tops that are too large, because these will make you seem like you’re swimming in your shirt. As well, avoid clingy fabrics, and make sure your tops don’t contain too much elastic.
Wear single- or double-breasted blazers and make sure to tailor them so they fit perfectly. Avoid any loose fabric under the arms or in the shoulder area. Don’t wear oversize blazers or sweaters with fitted pants or vice versa.
Wear jackets at the right length and make sure your jackets fall right under your buttocks, wearing shorter jackets will accentuate your height as well as your skinny waist, arms and legs. Longer jackets aren’t for you, so stay away from wearing them.
Pants with a classic cut and flat front are the best choice for your figure. Choose straight-leg or slightly boot-cut shapes and avoid wearing tapered trousers or skinny jeans. You can also go for pants with lines or patterns as they add a bit more volume to your shape.
