How to take care of your hair
Here are some useful tips to maintain your hair looking great and preserve its strength, elasticity and shine:
1. Towel drying is one of the main causes of damage to men’s hair. In order to minimize damage from towel drying, just shake out the excess water and then stroke your hair with the towel in the direction it grows.
2. Blow drying also leads to hair damage, because it can dry out the hair and scalp. To prevent damage from blow drying, you need to apply a styling spray to the hair, as it will protect against heat damage and hold the dryer 6-10 inches away from the hair. To prevent drying out the hair, don’t dry your hair completely.
3. To prevent damage, use a wide-tooth comb or brush when hair is wet.
4. Don’t wash your hair in very hot water, as it can dry out the hair and scalp.
5. Watch the pool water. Pool water contains chemicals that can dry and damage hair. To prevent hair damage, always wet your hair with tap water before entering the pool and wash it after swim.
6. Stay away from chemical abuse because it can cause damage to your hair.
7. Don’t over wash. You can shampoo daily, but extensive shampoo in a day could damage your hair. So, when you shampoo, concentrate on cleansing the scalp.
8. Balance diet. To maintain the strength and shine of your hair and promote faster growth of it, you need to eat well, drink lots of water, take vitamins, get enough sleep and live a stress-free lifestyle.
9. To control frizz, you need to use a good moisturizing conditioner.
