Men fashion trends for spring/summer 2009 are bright and elegant. Suits are becoming extremely popular and are going to be on trend for men this season.
Various designs of suits can be seen in spring collections for men. Classic stylish suits are going to be in vogue this season. The color palette is extremely wide: from dark tones to bright and elegant-looking tints. Skinny pants can be seen in Givenchy, Gucci, Jil Sanders, Alexander McQueen’s collections.
Some suits include wide pants as well, as one of the spring and summer trends and are represented mostly in Bottega Veneta’s line. Another trend of this season is dinner jackets that feature the following elements: satin shawl, satin notched or peaked lapels, or the satin stripe, and can be seen mostly in Dolce&Gabbana’s collection. Vests are gaining popularity with designers like D&G, Moschino and others.

As well, plunging neckline is a trendy detail for this season used in T-shirts, cardigans and even shirts. The designers that used this trend in their collections are Burberry Prorsum, Neil Barret, Cerruti, Salvatore Ferragamo, Ann Demeulemeester.
